Hamilton HAMILTON'S INVADERS 1964 Remco Large Yellow Beetle with Yellow Horn

Back in 1964, Remco attempted to capitalize on the Sci-Fi craze of the 1950s when it released the Hamilton's Invaders series.  The basic idea is that HUGE, UGLY BUGS have invaded earth...what are the mere humans to do?  There were various "almost neon colored" bugs attacking blue molded soldiers - who drove tanks and other misc. "military" vehicles.  The line also included child sized helmets and darts - we assume the idea was to "insert" yourself into the action - set up the aliens and 'blow' them away with your dart gun while wearing your protective helmet.

This listing is for one of the many toys based upon the Hamilton's Invaders theme.  The sets were a bit of a mix and match - with duplicates throughout if one were to buy every set.  The large Yellow Spider with Yellow Horn could be found in a few of the sets.  They are fragile in nature and the horn is usually missing.
