Century Modern Bed.
The wooden furniture with dark stain finish in Mid-Century Modern style
is part of a collection that includes:
sofa beds with striped upholstery
credenza with drawers and sliding door
coffee tables
end table
dining table and chairs with upholstered striped seats
table lamp with shade.
Each of the pieces bears the maker's insignia on the underside. Excellent
condition. Japan, Taihei Mokko Co. for Mattel, 1958 era.
It's interesting to note that every piece we've seen has a misprint/error
with the Roman Numerals. They should be MCMLVIII but are marked MCMLLIII.
