Gang Anri Music Box Musical Lot 1960s 1970s
Anri is an Italian company that has produced some of the most beautiful
hand
carved, hand painted music boxes ever made! Anri's attention to
detail and subtle color shading bring true life to these music
boxes. Some
of the most exciting and sought after were the Peanuts series and the even
harder to find Disney series, circa late 1960s and early 1970's.
"Made in Italy by Anri" and a date were originally carved into the
bottoms of all the music boxes (the Disney series do not have
dates). A
foil or paper tag also indicated what song the music box played.
These
tags easily came off and are often missing.
The "mini" music boxes are a bit harder to come by.
