Neat, original 1960's Universal Monsters Wolfman/Phantom of the Opera
lenticular flasher ring from a Vari-Vue competitor! Strangely, the
ring images are direct pictures of the catalog images of the Don Post
masks (with slight variances - the Creature is tilted). One of four like
rings that used the Universal Monsters Don Post masks - the others being
Creature/Hyde, Mummy/Hunchback, and Creature/Phantom. Really
cool!!! Typical of non-Vari-vue rings, the images "ghost" each other
and it's incredibly difficult to get an angle where only one image
appears. Probably used the Don Post images to avoid licensing
issues. These are much scarcer than the licensed Vari-vue
versions. Here's a reference only image of the Don Post masks used:
