Marvel Comics Fantastic Four Bronze Age Lot
The Fantastic Four were introduced in 1961 - kicking off Marvel's entry into
the Silver Age. Although having fanciful themes (they ARE superheroes after
all), the heroes were unique in that they had down to earth problems and
flaws. Marvel would build a universe of interconnecting characters. The
Fantastic Four were created when their spaceship was bombarded with cosmic
rays - and each hero gained unique powers: the elastic Mr. Fantastic, the
Invisible Woman (who would later gain the ability to project force fields),
the rock-like Thing, and the Human Torch. Being Marvel's flagship title (and
self described "World's Greatest Comic Magazine"), many famous characters
were introduced in the series. Including the Skrulls, The Inhumans, The
Silver Surfer, Galactus, Dr. Doom, and The Black Panther -among others!
