General wear/aging - box has some tear repairs. Partially loose window (common on these dolls as the window glue ages and dries up after decades). Doll never removed.
FUN FACTS, HISTORY, ATTRIBUTES (ie size, year of production, color, scarcity, etc) WHAT FOLLOWS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANYTHING SPECIFIC in this listing.
Listing is for a Mattel 12" 1978 Cheryl Ladd Doll Charlie's Angels MIB.
By 1978, Mego Corp had already released their Jacklyn Smith doll - based
upon her popularity in the uber hot Charlie's Angel program. With Farrah
Fawcett no longer on the program, that left two main characters up for
grabs - and Mattel didn't miss the opportunity. Clearly, they decided to
save some licensing fees by using the actress' names - not their character
names - and no actual reference to the show! They must have been hoping to
get the rights for Jacklyn Smith - but ended up opting to use "Kitty
O'Neal" a then very famous stuntwoman.
