Version.
Limited production talking Robby made by Masudaya of Japan. Impressive
authentic 1/5 scale replica of Robby the Robot with battery operated
talking mechanism and blue flashing light behind his mouth. Features also
include movable arms and swiveling waist.
Same voice recording as from the 1956 sci-fi movie "Forbidden Planet" with
the classic dialogue: "Welcome to Altair 4 gentlemen, I am to transport
you to the residence, if you do not speak English, I am at your disposal
with 187 other languages along with their various dialects and
sub-tongues. For your convenience I am monitored to respond to the name of
Robby."
