Spider-Man Hulk 1980s Motorcycle
Sidecar YH-805S Battery Operated Tam Toys MIB
Listing is for a Spider-Man Hulk 1980s Motorcycle Sidecar YH-805S Battery
Operated Tam Toys MIB.
Scarce, original 1980s Taiwan made toy featuring both the old Webhead and
Incredible Hulk. Unlicensed and made in very limited quantities. The
battery operated toy measures approximately 10 inches long and 8.5
inches tall -- to the top of Spidey's head. The motorcycle is made of
hard-plastic, and has a number of SPIDER MAN & HULK stickers affixed
to the surface. Spider-Man has moveable arms and torso. The Hulk can not
be removed from his sidecar but he has moveable arms and can turn at the
waist. The toy is marked: Made in Taiwan, with a serial number YH-805S.
It is not dated. When switched on, the toy moves with bump and go action
-- rolling until it hits an obstacle, and then changing direction
automatically. As it moves, it emits a siren sound, plus three lights
flash on and off -- the two headlights and one on top of the antenna.
Plastic battery toys from this era are notorious for having plastic
gears in this mechanisms -- and these plastic gears usually crack/split
with age -- leaving the toy non-functional.
